Some projects test your craft. This one tested our endurance. Our founder, Aaron, was brought on by a larger production company as Director of Photography, with additional directing and producing duties, to shoot History Channel's revival of "In Search Of." back in 2019. The gig sent our crew around the globe on fast, intense shoot days, often in extreme conditions, with a small but scrappy team that had to move quickly and deliver under pressure.

"In Search Of" is a reboot of the popular 1970s series originally hosted by Leonard Nimoy (the original Spock in Start Trek). For the revival, Emmy-nominated actor Zachary Quinto stepped into the host and executive producer role, a fitting torch to pass, since Quinto played Spock in the rebooted Star Trek films Nimoy once made iconic.

Along with the field work, we also had a full studio component built around Quinto's on-camera hosting which requires a different skillset (green screen / studio) beyond shooting in the field.

Each episode investigates one of the world's enduring mysteries. In Season 2, Episode 5, we turned our lens on the Bermuda Triangle, the stretch of ocean that has baffled travelers, explorers, and scientists for centuries. Are its infamous disappearances evidence of something unexplained, or just coincidence? The episode digs into the theories, the disasters, and the questions that still have no clean answers.
