Bud Light |  Super Bowl LVII

This one was personal.

Shooting a Bud Light Super Bowl campaign has been a career goal of ours for a long time, and getting called for Super Bowl LVII, Chiefs vs. Eagles, to shoot some online ads made that dream a little bit closer (and amazing).

The concept was simple and awesome: whoever wins “Brings home the Bud Light”.

Two cities, two fan bases, with one trophy on the line. And we had NFL legends Jamaal Charles repping Kansas City and Brian Westbrook repping Philly.

The shoot took us to both cities, capturing each legend all around their town in the lead-up to the game. It was the dead of winter, and they were brutally cold shoot days, where keeping crew and talent moving was honestly half the job. But due to the awesomeness of the project, the cold couldn’t kill our spirits. There's a different gear you find when you're shooting for something you grew up playing and watching, with legends you grew up playing with on John Madden’s video game, and the whole country watching. Very cool stuff.

The Result

The Chiefs brought home the Lombardi trophy, and Kansas City brought home the Bud Light. But we felt like we won too. For us, it checked off a bucket-list item we’ve been chasing for years, and it was proof that the dream shoots are worth the cold days it takes to get them. Now our dream for making a big budget / epic Super Bowl commercial feels closer than ever before.
