Live streams typically weren’t the most amazing thing to watch during the pandemic since a lot of them were done with smartphones and bad audio. Still, what do you do when you’re an influential Non-Profit and put on one of Washington D.C.’s top fundraising Galas each year but you find yourself in the middle of a global pandemic? You figure it out.

The Prevent Cancer Foundation had no choice but to do their Annual Gala virtually in 2020. It was new territory and they weren’t even sure where to begin so they reached out to Schwartzy and we got to work.

It was surprisingly a pretty big lift but to keep things watchable and fun, and because we’re a little bit extra, Schwartzy got celebrities like Lauren Daigle, 311, Max Weinberg, Rob Lowe, Norah O’Donnell, etc and we produced a few pre-recorded stories, got performances from artists, used a studio and fun lights, and broadcasted this program all LIVE on Youtube and Facebook.

The most amazing thing is that we ended up raising over $1.5 million for the fight against cancer! It surprised us all!!

It was for a great cause and the feedback has been amazing. We were grateful to be a part of it.
