Blaine | VP of Development and Showrunner
Blaine is an award-winning creator, writer, producer and director of both unscripted television series and branded content. Formerly Vice President of Development at Emmy Award-winning Citizen Pictures (Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives), Blaine brings a wealth of experience with ideating, developing, pitching, selling and producing content for brands & TV. Before transitioning into development, he produced projects for Food Network, HGTV, BRAVO and others as a freelance Showrunner specializing in travel, food/beverage, pop culture, luxury and lifestyle content.
In addition to creating entertaining TV shows, Blaine has created and produced branded content for a variety of industries and sizes, from Fortune 500’s (Microsoft, General Motors, Nike, Comcast, Kraft) to iconic heritage brands (Holiday Inn, New Balance) to premium boutique labels (Volvo, Garmin, Alexander McQueen, Comme des Garçons). A highlight of his branded content journey was his three year tenure at the Droga5 agency (AdWeek and Ad Age’s “Agency of the Decade” for the 2010’s) where he launched a One Show Pencil Award-winning (entertainment meets e-commerce) startup, and collaborating / producing content for Puma, Sephora, Reebok, Canon, New Era Caps and others.
Blaine also serves as a Documentary Filmmaking Mentor at the annual SXSW Film & TV Festival in Austin TX, is a published wine writer (SAVEUR magazine; Coolhunting.com), and he enjoys creating bespoke travel dossiers for friends traveling to his favorite international destinations.
